Advancing technology

The store specializes in sports equipment and apparel.  It  has a very large fishing department (certainly one of the most  impressive in the country), a very large gun/shooting sports department,  an extensive camping and backpacking department, very significant water  sports and marine departments with an extensive line of water skis and  accessories, and comprehensive footwear and team/athletic/ball sport  departments. 
Nationalism  is often evident in the pursuit of sports, or in its reporting: people compete in national teams, or commentators and audiences can adopt a partisan view. On occasion, such tensions can lead to violent confrontation among players or spectators within and beyond the sporting venue, as in the  Football War .
These trends are seen by many as contrary to the fundamental ethos of sports being carried on for its own sake and for the enjoyment of its participants.  Advancing technology created new opportunities for research into sports. It is now possible to analyze aspects of sports that were previously out of the reach of comprehension.
Being able to use motion capture to capture an athlete's movement, or advanced computer simulations to model physical scenarios has greatly increased an athlete's ability to understand what they are doing and how they can improve themselves.  It may not ring a bell for most of you especially those who are not really into sports and are not fanatics of the latest trend in training and basketball shoes.
But this should sound a big bang to you: Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars. Definitely!  Nike High tops  is similar to that of the Chuck Taylor classic shoes, that is used as a basketball shoes but in today?ˉs modern world, you could see almost anyone wearing such shoes, and not to mention, even girls do wear them. It is a part of fashion already, and that is why Nike invented the  Nike High Tops . 
We are excited to have Drs. William Sutton and Keith Harrison as leaders on the DeVos team. The nation's top sports marketing expert, Dr. Sutton is in his fifth year. In addition to teaching, he serves as Associate Department Head for the DeVos Program, as well as the Internship Coordinator. Dr. Harrison starts his second year an Associate Professor in the DeVos Program. He is CEO and co-founder of Scholar Baller, an organization aimed bridging the gap between education, sports, and entertainment.
